Now, I don't know about you guys, but I like season finales even if I know what's coming. I still don't like it ruined as there is always some mystery left. Well, the CW completely ruined The Flash season 3 finale next week with their upcoming season 4 synopsis.

In this week's episode, we saw that Iris West finally died at the hands of Savitar. But did she? We already know that a funeral scene was filmed which showed Barry and Iris talking. This has not been on TV yet, which leads us to believe it wasn't Iris that died. If it wasn't her, one of the only options is that it was someone using the face tech that wells used. You know, the one that makes you look like someone else?

If it wasn't Iris, one option is that it's Catelyn as she redeemed herself to avoid becoming full on Killer Frost. She not telling anyone could be a good reason why Savitar didn't know it was coming as he has Barry's memory. But, we know she definitely didn't die as you can see in the synopsis below. It has Iris listed for season 4.

Why in the world the CW decided to put out a synopsis of next season before this season's finale is beyond me, but you can read it below.

Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) lived a normal life as a perpetually tardy C.S.I. in the Central City Police Department. Barry’s life changed forever when the S.T.A.R. Labs Particle Accelerator exploded, creating a dark-matter lightning storm that struck Barry, bestowing him with super-speed and making him the fastest man alive — The Flash. But when Barry used his extraordinary abilities to travel back in time and save his mother’s life, he inadvertently created an alternate timeline known as Flashpoint; a phenomenon that gave birth to the villainous speed god known as Savitar, and changed the lives of Caitlin Snow (Danielle Panabaker) and Wally West (Keiyan Lonsdale) forever. With the help of his adoptive father, Joe West (Jesse L. Martin), his lifelong best friend and love interest Iris West (Candice Patton), and his friends at S.T.A.R. Labs -- Cisco Ramon (Carlos Valdes), C.S.I Julian Albert (Tom Felton), and an Earth-19 novelist named H.R. Wells (Tom Cavanaugh) -- Barry continues to protect the people of Central City from the meta-humans that threaten it.
