As long as the Internet will exist there will be someone pushing the "release" button on trailers a few days too early, just like someone did with the Superman prequel show planned for SyFy, Krypton.

While both Warner Bros. and SyFy did their best to scrub the internet of this prematurely released trailer of Krypton we all know that once something has gotten out in the depths of cyberspace it will never go away. Ever. This first trailer gives us a closer look at Superman's grandfather who laid the foundation for the legendary house of El we all know today. It also seems like this series will be one about class struggle and a fight against an oppressive and tyrannic government in an almost dark sci-fi style, seems like each episode won't end with everyone smiling. The trailer cuts between a lot of different scenes giving a taste of what's to come, which in my humble opinion looks rather interesting, much more interesting that I thought a story about Superman's grandpa would look.

It also looks like Krypton will be a part of the current DCEU film cannon and the main reason for it is because of the crest of house El, the Superman symbol, is the same as the Henry Cavill wears in Man of Steel and Batman v Superman. It will be interesting to see if DC follow up on this in future movies or TV shows. Bellow, you can see the full description text for the show, and it is, of course, written by PR people so maybe take it with a grain of salt.

"Syfy's Krypton, the much-anticipated Superman prequel set two generations before the destruction of the legendary Man of Steel’s home planet, will follow Superman’s grandfather — whose House of El was ostracized and shamed — as he fights to redeem his family’s honor and save his beloved world from chaos."

Krypton is set to premiere sometime in 2017 but a date has not yet been revealed, but a fall premiere would not be surprising. Krypton will also be written by the writer of The Dark Knight and Man of Steel, so if you liked those films then you'd probably like Krypton.

Check out a reaction of the trailer bellow, the trailer is in the bottom right corner, this is all we got for now, WB and SyFy took down all the "real" trailers.
