The two-minute long teaser trailer for Star Wars: The Last Jedi dropped over the weekend and there was quite a bit of meat in those two minutes, so let's break it down together.

First off, the obvious stuff, we have Rey training on the same planet as we found Luke on at the end of Episode VII, Luke is this version of Episode V's Yoda. We have Leia back in command at some Rebel base. R2-D2 is back in action again and he is accompanying Luke to a burning planet, then Phasma who somehow survived VII marches around on either the same or another burning planet. Finn is stuck in stasis, a big space battle commences, and Poe's ship gets exploded right before he gets in it. Then there is even more!

Turn up the volume for this. The trailer hides some well placed audio bits.
0:48 Leia is saying "Help me, Obi-Wan Kenobi"
0:55 Obi-Wan himself is saying "Seduced by the dark side"
0:59 Yoda saying "Surrounds us, binds us"

Seems like two fan favorites might be making a comeback. Other than that, we can see that Rey is learning to master the force, that Kylo smashes his helmet, the lightsaber fight, and a line of AT-ATs.

At 0:40 it is clear the Rey is starting to get used to her force abilities and that she will use it more often in this film than in the last one. Then at 1:09 we can see that Rey is training with Luke's sword, originally Anakin's. When Rey is showed training she is doing it on the deserted island, similarly to Luke in Episode V where he also trained in a desolate area.

Later at 0:50 we see the smashed Kylo Ren helmet. The reasons for why it is smashed as still unknown, maybe he got mad again and acted like a spoiled high school kid as usual or something more dramatic happened.

Then at 1:27 Rey and Kylo are preparing for a fight, if it is with each other or not is still a mystery, but both only have death in mind.

At 1:17 we see some ground speeders on a flat white landscape racing towards a line of AT-ATs, ring any bells for let's say Episode V?

Now for some speculations and theories that has been going around on the Internet and are fairly accepted until proven otherwise. At 0:59, at the same time Yoda says his line, a shot of some ancient texts is seen, then later the same symbol as on the official poster. This all seems to be alluding towards a continuation on the prophecy storyline from the prequels, neither Anakin nor Luke managed to bring balance to the force, one went dark side and the other went light side. This theory is strengthened by Luke at the very end of the trailer at 1:37 saying "it's time for the Jedi to end", meaning that it is time to stop with the whole dark side light side thing and just use the force, similarly to Ancient Order of the Whills, or the Grey Jedi from the extended universe. These Whills might also be behind Snoke, as in Snoke is not a sith but a Whills teaching Kylo Ren both sides of the force to try to bring balance to it.

There is a lot to say about this trailer, each frame could be speculated on, so what do you think, do you think the Whills will appear and that Episode 8 will be just a rehash of episode 5? Let us know in the comments bellow.
