Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2 isn't even out until May, but a Volume 3 has already been confirmed. The only issue is that director James Gunn may not be the one to direct it.

In an interview with Complex, Gunn noted that he has a lot of deciding to do regarding what he wants to do with his career and personal life before he commits to his next project. Gunn commented by saying

There will be a Guardians 3, that's for sure. We're trying to figure it out. I'm trying to figure out what I want to do really, that's all it is. I got to figure out where I want to be, what I want to spend the next three years of my life doing. You know, I'm going to make another big movie; is it the Guardians or something else? I'm just going to figure it out over the next couple of weeks.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2 is going to break all sorts of records on its name alone. On top of that, the movie looks pretty funny in the trailers we've seen so far, and much better than the first one. We'll finally get our first look at Ego the living planet and Kurt Russell as Star Lord's dad as well. Leading directly into Avengers Infinity War along with Thor: Ragnarok later this year, Guardians of the Galaxy has a lot on its plate content wise.

I'm sure this goes without saying, but you'd be down for a Volume 3 right? Let us know below and check out the trailer
